Elementary Intramural Boys Flag Football gives 4th and 5th grade boys the opportunity to learn the game, develop their skills, and compete in a fun, friendly, and encouraging environment. The program is led by SRCS Flag Football Coaches O'Neal and Christian with the assistance of middle school varsity players. No prior experience is necessary! Whether your son is new to flag football or has played before, this program is designed to help every participant grow and enjoy the game.
The program consists of six sessions (dates listed below). Each session will take place on the SRCS field from 3:00 PM to 4:45 PM. Parents are welcome to come to the field at 4:00 PM to watch the games. Dismissal will be from 4:45 PM to 5:00 PM in front of the gymnasium. Students who have not been picked up by 5:00 PM will be taken to Aftercare.
After school, an SRCS employee will escort participants from their classrooms to the gym, where they may change into athletic attire before heading to the field. Students should wear shorts and a shirt that meet SRCS standards for appropriateness, along with athletic shoes or rubber cleats. Mouth guards are not required but highly encouraged.
The $150 intramural participation fee will be applied to the student's FACTS account at a later date.
